And for good reason: with most rental companies, the deposit runs into thousands of dirhams, blocked on your bank card for the whole rental. At MobilityLine, you choose your deposit level yourself thanks to three transparent plans, including one with no deposit at all.
1How does a car rental deposit work?
The deposit is a bank pre-authorisation: the amount is not debited, but blocked on your card at pick-up, then released on return if the vehicle is returned in good condition. It covers the insurance excess, i.e. the amount you would have to pay in the event of damage.
The lower the excess, the lower the deposit. That is why the insurance plan and the deposit always go together.

3How much does a no-deposit rental cost?
The rental price depends on the vehicle and the duration. The Premium plan adds 350 MAD per day to the vehicle rate. A few examples:

Prefer a lower rate? The Comfort plan reduces the deposit to 2,500 MAD for 200 MAD more per day — a good compromise.
4Where can I rent with no deposit?
The Premium plan is available at all our locations:
- Casablanca: Mohammed V Airport (24/7) and Aïn Chock agency;
- Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, Rabat and Fez: airport handover and delivery in town.
5What is still required, even with no deposit
- A driving licence valid for at least 2 years (foreign licence accepted);
- ID document (national ID card or passport);
- Be at least 20 years (25 for some premium vehicles);
- Compliance with the contract terms: the Premium plan does not cover, for example, driving by an undeclared person.
