Morocco is one of the most varied destinations in the Mediterranean region. By car, you can build a tailor-made trip: a few days at the beach, a mountain getaway, a night in the desert. Here are the destinations we most often recommend to our customers.
1Chefchaouen, the blue city
Nestled in the Rif, Chefchaouen charms visitors with its blue-painted alleys and peaceful atmosphere. About 2 hours from Tangier. Parking is at the bottom of the medina.
2Asilah, the white city
Ramparts, murals and beaches: Asilah is perfect for a relaxing stop starting from Tangier.
3Essaouira, the windy city
A UNESCO-listed medina, a colourful fishing port, a huge beach: Essaouira stays cool even in midsummer thanks to the trade winds. About 2h45 from Marrakech.
4Agadir and Taghazout
Sunshine almost all year round, a long bay and surfing in Taghazout. Our Agadir agency delivers to Al Massira Airport.
5Saïdia and the Mediterranean coast
Warmer, calmer water and family resorts: Saïdia, Cabo Negro and Al Hoceima are the summer hotspots. See also our article on the most beautiful beaches in Morocco.
6Fez, the spiritual capital
The Fès el-Bali medina, one of the largest in the world, and its Chouara tanneries are not to be missed. Ideal in spring and autumn. Car rental in Fez.
7Ifrane and the Middle Atlas
Nicknamed “little Switzerland”, Ifrane is cool in summer and snowy in winter. The cedar forests of Azrou and their Barbary macaques are just a few kilometres away.
8Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes
A night in a bivouac under the stars is a unique experience. Best from October to April: summer there is very hot. See our 7-day itinerary to the Sahara.
